Penny Wright: MBACP (Snr Accred), UKCP, BPC, FPC

Penny Wright is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with over 10 years clinical experience. She is accredited with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and is a Senior Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

She qualified as a Counsellor in 2000, and went on to further study and to qualify as a psychotherapist within the rigorous WPF trainings, requiring in-depth personal therapy for the duration of the training.

Penny offers both short term counselling and long term psychotherapy in her consulting rooms situated between St Albans and Watford, within easy access form Junction 21A of the M25, and Junction 6 of the M1.

She has extensive experience of working with a range of issues, including relationship difficulties, anxiety and depression, low self confidence and self esteem, difficulty communicating feelings and emotions, suicidal feelings, abuse, self harm and eating disorders.

Penny has been trained to work with adults and has extra training concerning adolescent issues and the Adoption process.
